Automatic 12 station water pump assembly machine

This automatic assembly machine for the Ford 4.6 liter V8 water pump presses the bearing assembly into its aluminum housing, injects plastic around the bearing housing, presses on the fan hub, presses on the impeller and installs the seal. In process testing includes a leak test, a rotational torque test, an impeller to housing clearance measurement along with monitoring all press fits with strain gauges.
