General Motor's engine bracket machining center.

Opposed, interchangeable, multi-spindle heads drill and counterbored hole patterns. (2) special design dual axis milling heads slot ears. (2) vertical down pneumatic drilling units drill top of part. A family of (7) nodular iron engine mount brackets are machined from 5 sides in one setup. Part shuttles between two fixed positions for machining operations. Overhead crane facilitates fixture and drill head change over. Machine was furnished complete as shown, ready to run all (7) brackets.
